Mark Parrish

At Jefferson High School, Mark (Class of 1995) made three Minnesota State High School Hockey appearances, including two State Championships. Mark earned All State and All Metro honors in high school hockey. He attended St. Cloud State University from 1996-1997. He was a third-round draft pick for the NHL Colorado Avalanche in 1996. Mark was a second team All-American and MVP in 1997 and was on the USA World Junior Hockey Team in 1996-1997. Mark played with the Seattle Thunderbirds Hockey Team (Western Hockey League) in 1998 and was first team All Star Team MVP. He was traded to the Florida Panthers in 1998, where he was Team Rookie of the Year before being traded to the New York Islanders in 2000. Member of NHL All-Star Team in 2002. Three-time USA World Ice Hockey Championship Team; USA Olympic Hockey Team 2006. Mark signed a five-year contract with the Minnesota Wild hockey team in 2006. Mark presently lives in Plymouth with his wife Nicolle.
