Bloomington Jefferson High School is one of Hennepin Theatre Trust’s SpotLight Musical Theatre Program honorees for its spring production of “Beauty and the Beast.” Schools and students will be honored at the 8^th Annual SpotLight Showcase at 7 p.m. on Monday, June 3 at the Orpheum Theatre.

Jefferson High School senior Mike Blazanin qualified for the National Forensic League’s National Speech and Debate Tournament by placing second at the Southern Minnesota District Congressional Debate Tournament earlier this year. The national tournament is in Birmingham, Alabama June 16-21.

Graduation rehearsal will be held in the Jefferson cafeteria on Wednesday, June 5, at 2:30.  Rehearsal is mandatory for the graduates.  For more details click above.
